Is rope access safe?

Yes. Rope access is one of the safest methods of working at height when carried out by trained and certified technicians. Every rope access job uses a primary and backup rope system, site-specific risk assessments, rescue plans, and complies with AS/NZS 4488 and relevant WHS legislation.

When is rope access more cost effective than scaffolding?

For most buildings above two storeys requiring targeted works — repairs, inspections, painting, sealing or cleaning — rope access is significantly more cost effective. Scaffolding erection costs are incurred before a single work item is completed. Rope access mobilises in hours.

How long does a rope access project take?

Every project is different. Scope, building height, access complexity and the nature of the works all affect duration. An inspection and quote will give you a clear timeline before any commitment is required.

What services can be completed using rope access?

How do you ensure safety on every job?

Every rope access job begins with a site-specific risk assessment and method statement. Rescue plans are in place before ropes are rigged. All technicians are certified, all equipment is inspected and load-rated, and all anchor points are certified and tested.

Do you use IRATA qualified technicians?

Yes. All rope access technicians hold current IRATA certification — the global standard for rope access. IRATA levels 1, 2 and 3 are represented across our team, with Level 3 supervisors overseeing all rope access works.

What areas can you access with rope access?

Virtually anywhere on a building exterior — high-rise facades, tight or restricted spaces, above awnings, over water, heritage facades, difficult roof transitions and internal voids where other equipment cannot reach.

Will rope access cause disruption to residents?

Minimal. Rope access requires no scaffolding, no blocked entries or car parks, and no heavy equipment on the ground. Residents are notified in advance and works are planned to minimise impact on daily building operations.

Are you insured for rope access work?

Yes. We carry public liability and workers compensation insurance that covers all rope access activities. Certificates of currency are available on request.

What certifications do you hold?
